04/16/2024 MINUTES 2 <br />COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to continue the Public Hearing to May 7, <br />2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, Room 109, <br />Kittitas County Courthouse, and for the public record to remain <br />open. CHAIRMAN WACHSMTIH seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING EQUIPMENT SURPLUS PUBLIC WORKS <br />At approximately 2:05 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public <br />Hearing to consider equipment surplus to Kittitas County needs and <br />to authorize disposal of the same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report and said <br />Community Development Services would like to surplus a 2015 Nissan <br />Frontier surplus and recommended approval of a proposed Resolution. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2024-065 EQUIPMENT SURPLUS PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-065, to <br />Declare Community Development Vehicle Surplus to the County’s Needs <br />and to Authorize Disposal, for a 2015 Nissan Frontier. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 2-0. PUBLIC HEARING EQUIPMENT SURPLUS PUBLIC WORKS <br />At 2:08 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Equipment Surplus to Kittitas County’s needs and to authorize <br />disposal of same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. JOSH FREDRICKSON, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report and <br />recommended 3 vehicles from the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund <br />surplus to the County’s needs and to authorize disposal. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2024-066 EQUIPMENT SUPPLUS PUBLIC WORKS <br /> COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-066, to <br />Declare Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund Equipment Surplus to the <br />County’s Needs and to Authorize Disposal of a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500; <br />2012 Dodge Ram 2500, and a 2015 Ford IT Crew Cab Flatbed. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING AMEND CODE SEC. 18.02 PROSECUTOR <br />At 2:10 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Amending Kittitas County Code Section 18.02.
