BOARD OF COUNTY COMMSSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: 4/09/2024 <br />TOPIC: Storage for Maintenance <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for maintenance to purchase storage. <br />LEAD STAFF <br />Patti Stacey, Facilities Director. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Recommend Boards approval to purchase two storage units. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Kittitas County Maintenance currently uses a shipping container that is in the north dirt parking lot. With the <br />upcoming construction project, the shipping container will be removed, and the items stored will need to be <br />relocated. <br />By adding a 10'x12 storage shed to the existing north and south parking lot maintenance will be able to secure <br />the lawn mowers and other lawn equipment and four wheelers and other snow removal items used around the <br />courthouse and jail. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS <br />The 2024 budget included the cost for these items. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />Copy of quotes. <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
