Coordinate with other agencies and outreach efforts to align messages on topics such as <br />energy efficiency and conservation, trip reduction, alternative modes of transportation, green <br />building, energy efficient design, waste reduction, recycling, composting, water <br />conservation, water efficient design and products, benefits of buying locally grown, <br />prepared, and manufactures goods and services. <br />Consider transportation projects that will contribute to a reduction in vehicle miles traveled <br />per capita, while maintaining economic vitality and sustainability. <br />2. Provide safe and convenient access for pedestrians and bicyclists to, across, and along major <br />transportation corridors. <br />
