Kittitas County Parks and Recreation District No. I <br />RESOLUTION NO.2024-6q-.. - I <br />Authorizing the Signing of an Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County Parks and <br />Recreation District No. 1 and the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />WHEREAS: Revised Code of Washington (RCW) chapter 39.34 (Washington Interlocal <br />Cooperative Act) allows cooperative agreements between Kittitas County Parks and Recreation <br />District No. 1 (KPRD I) and the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC); and <br />WHEREAS: KPRD1 desires conveying via quit claim deed its Evergreen Sno-Park to the <br />BoCC; and <br />WHEREAS: The BoCC has agreed to accept the quit claim deed for the Evergreen Sno-Park <br />from KPRDI via interlocal agreement (attached as Exhibit 1) and for all considerations <br />contained therein. <br />NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that in the best interest of KPRD I that the KPRD 1 <br />Commissioners do hereby authorize the interlocal agreement between KPRD1 and BoCC. <br />ADOPTED this 3`d day ofApril 2024, at Cle Elum, Washington. <br />Kent Verbeck, Chair Ali Astrachan, Secretary <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
