APRIL 8, 2024 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chair Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Stephanie Hartung, Chief Civil Deputy; Greg Zempel, <br />Prosecutor and one member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT – NONE. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending April 5, 2024. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION CLARKE CONTRACT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright stated that he wanted to address on the Agenda <br />that it stated the discussion was about the Clarke & Dykstra <br />Contract but it’s in fact Clarke only and Dykstra has not been on <br />the Contract in quite some time. Commissioner Wright stated that Mr. <br />Clarke, Ms. Hartung, and himself have been meeting once a month to <br />stay in touch on current issues as well as share his knowledge on <br />water and land use, and it’s been going very well. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz expressed her concerns about Mr. Clarkes case load and <br />feeling like he doesn’t have the time to adequately represent the <br />County in all areas that are needed. Mr. Zempel stated he will <br />modify the contract to address today’s discussion for the Board to <br />review. He stated he would be fine moving forward with another
