Subrecipient is responsible to comply with all federal <br />statutes relating to non-discrimination, including but not limited to: Title Vl of the Civil Rights <br />Act of 1964 (PL 88-352) which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national <br />origin; Title lX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (20 USC SS 1681-1683; 1685-1686) which <br />prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 <br />(29 USC 5 794)which prohibits discrimination on the basis of handicaps; Age Discrimination Act <br />of 1975 (42 USC $$ 6101-6107) which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age; Drug Abuse <br />Office and Treatment Act of 1972 tPL 92-255) which prohibits discrimination on the basis of <br />drug abuse; the Comprehensive Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism Prevention, Treatment and <br />Rehabilitation Act of 1970 (PL 91-616) regarding non-discrimination on basis of alcohol abuse or <br />alcoholism; Sections 523 and 527 of the Public Health Services Act of 1912 as amended (42 USC <br />$5 ZgO dd-3 and 290 ee-31 regarding confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records; <br />Title Vlll of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (42 USC 95 3601 et seq.) regarding nondiscrimination in <br />the sale, rental or financing of housing; any other nondiscrimination provisions of the specific <br />statutes under which this agreement is being made; and the requirements of any other <br />nondlscrimination statute(s! which apply to the federalfinancial assistance award received by <br />MLE. <br />G. Eligible Workers. Subrecipient shallensure that allemployees complete the 1-9 Form to <br />certify that they are eligible for lawful employment under the lmmigration and Nationality Act <br />(8 USC L324al. Subrecipient shall comply with regulations regarding certification and retention <br />of the completed forms. <br />H. To the extent applicable to this award, Subrecipient is responsible to comply with <br />1. National Environmental Policy Act; E.O. 11514 (which requires the Subrecipient to <br />comply with environmental standards which may be prescribed pursuant to institution <br />of environmental quality control measures under the National Environmental Policy Act <br />of 1959 (42 USC Chapter 55, [Pub. L. 91-190]) and Executive Order 11514. <br />2. E.O. 11990: Protection of Wetlands (which requires the Subrecipient to comply with <br />environmental standards for the protection of wetlands) <br />3. E.O. 11988: Floodplain Management; E.O. 11988 (which requires the Subrecipient to <br />comply with environmental standards for the evaluation of flood hazards in floodplains) <br />4. Coastal Zone Management Act (which requires Subrecipient to ensure that the work <br />performed will not violate State management programs developed under the Coastal <br />Zone Management Act of L9721(16 USC Chapter 33, Sections 1451 et seq.).' <br />5. Wild and Scenic Rivers Act {which requires the Subrecipient to protect components or <br />potential components of the national wild and scenic rivers system). (16 USC Chapter <br />28, Sections!27t et seq.) <br />6.
