BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024- <br />AUTHORIZE THE SELECTION OF ASPECT CONSULTING AS PUBLIC WORKS ON -CALL <br />TASK ORDER CONSULTANT FOR WATER BANKING PROGRAM SUPPORT SERVICES <br />FOR UP TO A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF SERVICE AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY <br />WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO SIGN SAID CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works (PW) prepared a solicitation for water banking program <br />professional services consistent with state law and county code in February 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: PW docketed a request to solicit for water banking program support services on the Board <br />of County Commission general business agenda on February 20, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: Submittals were due on March 15, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: One (1) qualified firm submitted their qualifications for review; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works staff reviewed the submittal and recommends the selection <br />of Aspect Consulting for a professional services contract for up to a three-year period <br />(two-year base with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon). <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select Aspect Consulting for <br />standard professional services contracts (acceptable to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Water Resources Manager is directed to sign said contract on behalf <br />of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />DATED this 2°d day of April 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />
