BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN THE PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATIONS OF <br />WASHINGTON COMPANY, LLC FOR BROADBAND SERVICE TO THORP AND <br />EDGEMONT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County did receive a Public Works Board broadband grant for <br />servicing the communities of Thorp and Edgemont in Kittitas County; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners did direct that <br />Public Works solicit for qualified service providers through a statement <br />of qualifications process consistent with state procurement law; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works did solicit for service and a selection committee selected to <br />negotiate a professional services agreement (PSA) with Consolidated <br />Communications of WA Company LLC (Consolidated); and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has received a signed agreement from Consolidated in the <br />amount of $3,563,946. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby authorize the Public Works Director to sign the PSA with <br />Consolidated in the amount of $3,563,946. <br />DATED this 2nd day of April 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
