BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024- <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH LIQUID ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2024 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 6, 2024, to <br />furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office, and three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Albina <br />Asphalt for Schedule "A" and Schedule `B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2024 Liquid Asphalt Materials to <br />Albina Asphalt for Schedule "A" and Schedule `B", upon such terms and conditions as specified <br />in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />DATED this Sth day of March 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
