<br />02/20/2024 MINUTES 5 <br /> <br />including the Rodeo grounds and trails. <br /> <br />Cheryl Chance provided some history of the Rodeo grounds, bleachers, and <br />the eroding hillside. She expressed concerns especially since the <br />recent damage done to a vehicle from the eroding hillside. <br /> <br />Theresa Plue reviewed her experience in engineering and questioned the <br />hierarchy of engineers and their potential conflict of interests. <br /> <br />Candace Comfort said she was invested in Ellensburg and felt public <br />safety was the first priority. She wanted to make sure the hillside <br />didn’t give out and now was the time to get it taken care of. She <br />requested a Town Hall meeting between the City and County. <br /> <br />Rhonda Griffin felt the issue was complicated but the mistakes need to <br />be corrected. She also requested a Town Hall meeting between the City <br />and County. <br /> <br />Lynn McCowen spoke of the park renovation and how there are structural <br />problems with roads within the park.
