BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSII <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2024- <br />AUTHORIZING THE KITTITAS COUNTY WATER BANK TO PROVIDE LEGAL <br />MITIGATION FOR THE KITTITAS COUNTY SEARCH AND RESCUE AND EMERGENCY <br />MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS FACILITY IN CLE ELUM, WASHINGTON <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Search and Rescue and Emergency Management Operations Facility <br />is not within the City of Cie Elum water service area and domestic water will be served by <br />an individual well; and <br />WHEREAS: Eligibility criteria for the Kittitas County Water Bank is established by Kittitas County <br />Code Chapter 13.40 Mitigation and Metering Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners desire to approve mitigation for the Search and <br />Rescue and Emergency Management Operations Facility under the Special Use Program <br />authorization established by Kittitas County Code 13.40.010(2); and <br />WHEREAS: Water Mitigation will be made available for this use, utilizing the water quantity packages <br />and fees utilized for the Water Mitigation Standard Program. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Kittitas County <br />Water Bank to provide legal mitigation for the Search and Rescue and Emergency <br />Management Operations Facility facility in Cie Elum, Washington. <br />DATED this 20'" day of February 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
