BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2024 - <br />AMENDING KITTITAS COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 2.04.010 REGARDING <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER'S REGULARLY <br />SCHEDULED STUDY SESSIONS <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Code Section 2.04.010 establishes the official, regularly <br />scheduled meetings and study session times of the Board of County <br />Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners did hold a public <br />hearing on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm to hear public <br />testimony regarding elimination of the Airport Department study session; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners did eliminate the Airport <br />Department in 2023, returning airport responsibilities to Public Works as a <br />division. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED that the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners, after due deliberation and in the best interest of the <br />public, does hereby eliminates the Airport Department Study Session and <br />amends Kittitas County Code Section 2.04.010 as indicated in Exhibit A. <br />ADOPTED this 201h day of February, 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, <br />WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
