02/12/2024 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to authorize Ms. Hartung to instruct the <br />County’s Opioid Litigation Counsel, to case a “yes” vote in the Endo <br />Bankruptcy Reorganization Plan. Commissioner Osiadacz second. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION BUDGET PREFACE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright requested to pull the item for now. <br /> <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of February 9, 2024, they <br />would post the following on their Facebook page: Holiday Closure on <br />Monday February 19, 2024; PSE Rolling Blackout Forum; KVEC Patriot <br />Nights Announcement. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2024 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in individually over the past week. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz brought up a conflict on 2/28 where she needed <br />to discuss coverage with the Board. She stated she has LSC but also <br />a STEER I-90 Open House. She stated that she had told them she would <br />not be able to make the 28th if they went with it and they went with <br />it anyway. Chairman Wachsmith stated he would like to attend LSC <br />again. He stated he really enjoyed covering it last time.
