Reimbursement for all types of enforcement activities shall be at the following rates <br />unless specifically stated otherwise: <br />Per diem rate is $71.00/day <br />Wages at the prevailing rate of $107.00/hour plus fringe benefits. Overtime rate as <br />needed for additional support up to $107.00/hour, per prior approval. Reimbursement <br />will be based on actual expenses. <br />II. PATROL ACTIVITIES: <br />A. Time schedules for patrols will be flexible to allow for emergencies, other priorities, and <br />day-to-day needs of both Cooperator and the U.S. Forest Service. Ample time will be <br />spent in each area to make residents and visitors aware that law enforcement officers are <br />in the vicinity. <br />1. Patrol on following U.S. Forest Service roads: <br />Any and all U.S. Forest Service roads within Kittitas County in the <br />Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest. <br />2. Patrol in the following campgrounds, developed sites, or dispersed areas: <br />Patrolling all recreational areas, including all campgrounds, dispersed <br />sites, boating areas, hiking sites off U.S. Forest Service roads within <br />Kittitas County. Patrol routes may be varied at the discretion of the <br />assigned Deputy to effectively deal with incidents at other locations as <br />they occur. Patrolling approximately 20 hours per week. A minimum of <br />12 patrol hours on weekends, between noon Friday and midnight <br />Sundays in the afternoon and evening hours. <br />Total reimbursement for this category shall not exceed the amount of. $19,184.00. <br />(Rev. 12-13) <br />Page 12 of 19 <br />
