The County reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. <br />SELECTION PROCESS AND PROPOSED SCHEDULE: <br />Kittitas County's selection will be based on review of submittals in the following manner: <br />1. The firm's or team's qualifications, experience and ability performing the requested work as an <br />extension of county planning staff (50 points). <br />2. Detailed description of the firm's technology capabilities meeting modern mapping and outreach <br />support services (30 points). <br />3. Experience working in Kittitas County in the past five (5) years (20 points). <br />4. Experience working with state and federal regional staff in the past five (5) years (20 points). <br />5. Demonstrated experience working with Washington State Department of Commerce staff on <br />Growth Management compliance issues. (50 points). <br />Anticipated Dates <br />asks <br />March 8, 2024 <br />Deadline for SOQ submittals <br />March 22, 2024 <br />Selection of Firms to Interview <br />March 27, 2024 <br />Interviews and Reference Checks <br />April 2, 2024 <br />BOCC contract award <br />April 12, 2024 <br />Executed contract <br />The selection process shall be as follows: <br />• Submittals are reviewed and scored by the CDS selection committee. <br />• Selection of firms to interview may be waived if the selection committee decides to award to a <br />single firm based on review of the submittals. <br />• Firms will be selected to interview if the selection committee decides that interviews are <br />required. The specific interview format will be provided to firms in advance of interviews. <br />• Board of County Commission authorized on -call task order contract award. <br />• The selected consultant will then enter into a Professional Services Consultant Agreement with <br />the County. <br />• The CDS Director will negotiate a scope of work and fee with the selected consultant on a task <br />order basis. <br />Kittitas County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. <br />2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, <br />Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of <br />Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure <br />that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as <br />defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation <br />and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in <br />consideration for an award. <br />Kittitas County in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the <br />Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of <br />its programs and activities.
