BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIt <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2024 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS FOR THE LIBERTY ROAD SWAUK CREEK BRIDGE <br />REPLACEMENT, CRP 306-21 <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has received funding through the FFY 2022 WA Federal Lands <br />Access Program (FLAP); and <br />WHEREAS: The federal funding will be used for the construction of a new bridge on Liberty <br />Road crossing Swank Creek; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation for construction advertisement Kittitas County Public Works is <br />requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation release the federal <br />funds for the construction phase; and <br />WHEREAS: A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />acknowledging the project has been reviewed and is consistent with the County's <br />comprehensive plan for community development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Liberty Road Swank Creek <br />Bridge Replacement, CRP 306-21. <br />DATED on this 6th day of February 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chair <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chair <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
