11/27/23 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONF. ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 11:00 A.M. November 27th, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: IT Director Doug Fessler; Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney; <br />Maintenance Director Patti Stacey; IT Administrative Assistant Grant <br />Shimada <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING IT STUDY SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 11:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Information Technology Study <br />Session. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were no citizen comments. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION Request to Approve a Resolution <br />Acknowledging Contract Changes <br />MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Maintenance Director Patti Stacey began the study session by going <br />over the informational sheets she provided that covered the changes to <br />a contract originally approved a few months earlier for the repairs of <br />the Cle Elum parking lot. The original PSA needed adjustments due to <br />additional plans being added to improve longevity. All Commissioners <br />approved the resolution at 11:02 a.m. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION Check-In on Technology Hardware Stats IT <br /> <br />IT Director Doug Fessler gave the Commissioners an update on the <br />County’s technology hardware. Mr. Fessler explained that a large <br />portion of the Prosecutor’s network space is being consumed by the <br />Sheriff’s body cam video files. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION DATA BACKUP EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION IT <br /> <br />Mr. Fessler updated the Commissioners about the IT department procuring <br />the Rubrik hardware from Ivoxy instead of Ednetics due to the latter <br />proving to be unreliable. Ivoxy sent the IT department their Statement <br />of Work which is currently being reviewed by legal. The IT department <br />is working on a resolution that will approve the Statement of Work and <br />plans to present this resolution at the Commissioners Agenda Session <br />on December 5th. <br />
