Cook <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Direct staff schedule a public hearing to amend KCC 2.04.010. <br />BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br />• Currently, Kittitas County Code (2.04.010) lists Airport study sessions as being <br />held the second Monday of each month at 11 AM. <br />• The Board of County Commissioners eliminated the Airport Department in 2023, <br />returning it to Public Works as a division. <br />• Staff proposes amending County Code eliminating the reference at 2.04.010. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Departments of the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) notice meeting times with <br />department directors at KCC 2.04.010. The code currently references Airport <br />Department study sessions with the BoCC on the second Monday of each month. <br />The BoCC returned the airport as a division to Public Works in 2023.
