BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />AUTHORIZING CHAIR SIGNATURE ON AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF ELLENSBURG AND KITTITAS COUNTY <br />FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS: The City of Ellensburg and the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone <br />District entered into an Interlocal Agreement in support of the construction <br />of the Reecer Creek Flood Hazard Reduction and Floodplain Restoration <br />Project, as authorized by Kittitas County Resolution No. 2022-176; and <br />WHEREAS: Section 14 of the Agreement allows for modification or amendment by <br />written mutual agreement of the parties; and <br />WHEREAS: The Parties desire to amend the Agreement extending the agreement term <br />to December 31, 2024; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners of <br />Kittitas County, Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby authorize <br />Chair signature on an amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between the City of <br />Ellensburg and Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District. <br />DATED this 161h day of January 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
