BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF ITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2024 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PROCEDURES <br />WSDOT FORM LPA-001, APPENDIX A AND APPENDIX B <br />WHEREAS: Resolution number 2017-145 approved the Government Agreement for Aid, <br />Policy on Right -of -Way Acquisition procedures, Personnel Qualifications, <br />Waiver of Appraisal and Administrative Settlement Procedures for acquisition of <br />real estate for Federal Aid funded projects; and <br />WHEREAS: Resolution number 2023-230 updated staff identified for various tasks; and <br />WHEREAS: WSDOT forms and procedures are to be updated to reflect current procedures <br />and requirements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works is required to perform the specific right-of-way functions of <br />Program Administration and Property Management; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works will seek to utilize consultant support for all other specific right-of- <br />way functions; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature updating the <br />right-of-way procedures WSDOT form LPA-001, Appendix A and Appendix B. <br />DATED on this 16th day of January 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
