Request Chair's Signature on Amendment with SCJ Alliance for the Event Center RV <br />Park — Commissioner Wright moved to approve Vice Chair's signature on amendment with SCJ <br />Alliance. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion. Motion passed. 2-0 <br />Request Board to Ratify Patti Stacey's Signature on Jacobs Work Order 8 for permitting <br />and Technical Services through Construction — A brief discussion was held on signing <br />authority amounts. Commissioner Wright moved to ratify Patti Stacey's signature on Jacobs's <br />work order number 8. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion. Motion passed. 2-0 <br />Ryegrass Septage Pond Update — Patti informed the Board that the testing of the lagoon is <br />complete, and the report shows there a three holes in the liner and that she declared emergency to <br />fix the problem and has requested approval from the Department of Ecology to pump supernate <br />into Pond four while repairs are being completed to Pond one. <br />Request Board Approve for Patti Stacey to sign Department of Commerce CEF 5 <br />Electrification of Transportation Systems Grant — Patti informed the Board she received a <br />grant in the amount of $150,000 for charging stations. Commissioner Wright moved to approve <br />Patti Stacey to sign the Grant. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion. Motion passed 2-0. <br />Other Business - No Action to be taken. Discussion was held on the condition of the Jail <br />including the leak from the outdoor rec and a leak in the kitchen and setting a special meeting to <br />discuss the Courthouse and Jail with Finance, Sheriff, and Treasurer. Further discussion included <br />different cost scenarios to discuss such as not having a jail and contracting out services, building <br />a modular jail with add on capabilities, building a premium facility or repairing and rebuilding <br />the current jail. Further discussion was held on the 40-year-old pipes in the building failing, the <br />cost of the repairs, the fire sprinkler system, and the report from 4 years ago stating that it would <br />be approximately 17 million to fix the Courthouse and Jail.
