Here's the e-mail I sent about 2 years ago explaining Rooney's participation in regard to replacing the private crossings. It clearly states that I'm willing to spend a max of 40k on the project for the purchase of a bridge and my rationale for doing so. This e-mail was sent prior to your study session with the commissioners. It appears that my comments might not have been reflected in the final study session notes. Obviously, the project got delayed, prices changed, etc. but I'm still wanting to get things moved forward. I'm willing to bump my expenditure to the $51,950 that I was quoted last week for the bridge from TruNorth. This does not include the estimated $14k of a supersill package that goes with the bridge abutment. They still need specs to firm up the pricing for this component. I look forward to discussing the way forward next Wednesday.
