JANUARY 2, 2024 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Debbie Stanavich, <br />Administrative Assistant; Brian Carlson, Budget & Finance Director; <br />Dora Van Epps, Accountant II; Kady Porterfield, Event Center <br />Director and 3 members of the public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING CDBG - CV1 & CV2 AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />reviewing the final project performance on the Washington State <br />Department of Commerce CDBG – Coronavirus CDBG-CV1 & CV2 funded by <br />the Community Development Block Grant. <br /> <br />BRIAN CARLSON, BUDGET & FINANCE DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report and <br />explained that the Board authorized an Interagency Agreement with <br />Washington Department of Commerce for Community Development Block <br />Grant – Coronavirus (CDBG-CV1) for $292,634.00 on March 2, 2021, <br />(Resolution 2021-030). He explained that today’s Public Hearing is <br />to approve the closeout performance reports. He stated that the <br />following subrecipients have completed their closeout reports: <br />Hopesource (05L) Childcare Services $45,281.52; Hopesource (05Q) <br />Subsistence Payments $172,082.48; Comprehensive Healthcare (05O) <br />Mental Health Services $154,766.00; and Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce (18C) Microenterprise Assistance $75,000.00 and, he thanked <br />his Staff for all the work they put into this project. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve the CDBG – Coronavirus (CDBG <br />CV1 – CV2) Public Services Contract No. 20-6221C-115 Closeout <br />Performance Reports as presented. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING RENTAL RATES / FEE SCHEDULE EVENT CENTER <br /> <br />At 2:03 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />adopting the proposed 2024 Kittitas Valley Event Center Rental Rates <br />& Fee Schedule. <br />
