Update on Cle Elum Transfer Station: Patti informed the Board that she received DOT <br />approval for access and that the new entrance project should go out to bid the first of year. <br />Ryegrass Facility updates: Patti informed the Board that Pond one appears to have a minor leak <br />after liquid was found in the lysimeter and tested positive for low amounts of EColi and <br />salmonella from human source. <br />Request Board approval of Declaration of Emergency: Commissioner Wachsmith moved to <br />approve Resolution No. 2023-223. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion. Motion passed <br />3-0. <br />Request Board to ratify Patti Stacey's signature on Professional Services agreement with <br />HGI for Lagoon Testing: Commissioner Wachsmith moved to ratify Patti's signature on <br />Professional Services Agreement with HGI. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion <br />passed 3-0. <br />Other Business — No action to be taken. <br />Discussion was held on the next step with the Courthouse Consultant, securing funding, <br />preparing an outreach and education plan for the public. Further discussion was held on Grant <br />County's facility, our current jail, and the need to reach a final consensus on the location. Staff <br />will set a special meeting in January with the Sheriff and finance. Patti will meet with the <br />consultant and bring a request for information rough draft back to the Board.
