BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH PETROLEUM AND LUBRICANT PRODUCTS FOR 2024 <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2024 <br />on December 7, 2023, and December 14, 2023; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on December 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Department and five (5) bids were received, with one bid deemed <br />incomplete; and <br />WHEREAS: One (1) bid was received for Schedule "A" and Two (2) bids were received for Schedule <br />"B"; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Co -Energy for <br />Schedule "A" and Schedule `B" be accepted; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of A and I <br />Distributors for Schedule "C" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby award the bid to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2024 to Co - <br />Energy for Schedule "A" and Schedule `B"; and A and I Distributors for Schedule "C"; upon such terms <br />and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract documents <br />upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />DATED this 2nd day of January 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />
