BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2024 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGATURE ON THE PUGET SOUND ENERGY <br />EASEMENT DOCUMENT FOR A NONEXCLUSIVE UTILITY EASEMENT AT <br />BOWERS FIELD <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County owns and leases property at Bowers Field Airport within the <br />Aeronautical Area for aviation purposes; and <br />WHEREAS: Airport Holdings, LLC has an approved lease for Lots H-5A and H-6A of Bowers <br />Field Airport Binding Site Plan 2nd Amendment BS-21-00001, as recorded on <br />January 19, 2023, in Volume 45 pages 80-83; and <br />WHEREAS: Development of the site requires electrical utility service; and <br />WHEREAS: Puget Sound Energy (PSE) has requested a nonexclusive utility easement to <br />allow for installation and maintenance of electrical service to said parcels; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature granting Puget <br />Sound Energy an easement for utilities at Bowers Field. <br />DATED on this 2nd day of January 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />
