11/27/2023 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Board <br />signature on a letter of support regarding the Cle Elum Ridge Large <br />Landscape Forest legacy Project as presented. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />MOU KC/TNC/KCT/DNR – CHAIR SIGNATURE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Chairman Wrights electronic <br />signature on an MOU between Kittitas County, DNR, The Nature <br />Conservancy & Kittitas Conservation Trust, as presented. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion Carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of November 27, 2023, they <br />would post on their Facebook page the following: Proclamations for <br />Declaring November 27, 2023, as "Ellensburg High School Boys Cross <br />Country Team Day" in Kittitas County for being the 2023 WIAA 2A <br />Academic State Champions for Fall 2023; A Proclamation Declaring <br />November 28, 2023, as "Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team <br />Day" in Kittitas County for being the WIAA 2B Academic State <br />Champions for Fall 2023; and a Certificate of Appreciation to <br />Sharrie McPherson for her years of service to Kittitas County from <br />3/1/2002 – 11/30/2023. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2023 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />UPDATES BOCC/WHITE BOARDS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their updates/edits to each of their white <br />boards. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting concluded at 9:58 a.m. <br />
