BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND BENTON COUNTY FOR GENERAL <br />EQUIPMENT AND/OR SERVICES THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Department of Public Works and Benton County Public Works <br />Department desire to entering into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement pursuant <br />to Chapter 39.4 RCW, Interlocal Cooperation Act; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County and Benton County may at times have resources and equipment <br />that may be beneficial to each parry for county projects; and <br />WHEREAS: Entering into said Interlocal Cooperative Agreement allows for providing said <br />resources; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chairman's signature on an Interlocal <br />Cooperative Agreement between Kittitas County and Benton County for General <br />Equipment and/or Services through the Department of Public Works. <br />DATED this 17th day of October 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
