Collection Containers. The solid waste comoanv will orovide the number <br />of ninetv-six-s?llon carts reqVested bv the.qustomer. <br />4. Additional Service Provisions. The followinq pJovisions apply to-the <br />collection services described in this chapter: <br />A. All carts must be standardized {hr.ouohout tlre counbr. Ihe solid-waste <br />cornpanv wlll provide Blue carts for recvcllnq and Greon carts for Errd waste to <br />remain conslstent throuohout. <br />B. The sslid waste, cornBanv mav refuse to collect curbside recvcling and <br />composlable orqanicg material set oqt for collection if the material will be <br />gnmarketable due to contamination.-lf collectiqn is reftlsed. the solg! waste <br />companv must attach information to the cart explaining whv the materialwas <br />not collected. The customer will have the choice to clean lhe recvclable and <br />vard waste material or ask the solid waste gompanv to dispose of the material <br />as qarbaqe at the neXt scheduled pick up. The division in consultation With the <br />solid waste companv will develon this information. <br />C. Solid waste comoanv is not obliqated to collect contaminated containers <br />from customers. For purposes of this ordinance. a container is contaminated <br />when. based on phvsical and/or electronic visual inspection it is determined <br />that (i) a recvclables container contains non-recvclables (pursuant to the lisl of <br />materials set forth in Exhibit B, (ii) a vard debris container contains material <br />other than vard debris. and/or (iii) anv container contains anv unaoceptable <br />waste. <br />lf solid waste,comoanv elects not to collect a contaminaled cpntainer. solld <br />waste comoanv shall notifv the customer exolaininq whv.
