We will also be applying for funds for this event from the Roslyn Dorantolryn Association, Suncadia Fund for Community Enhancement, NKC Tribune Matching Ad Sponsorship Program, and other businesses. Funds that we have received to date have all been used to pay for the new Kiosk Structure, landscaping, parking lot improvements, digital kiosk stand and software Our next major improvement project at the cemetery will be adding and improving the irrigation system throughout all 27 cemeteries. We are fortunate to have broad support from various groups in the community where they come and assist with various clean up and improvement projects in the Cemetery. This includes members of the Rotary Club, Ethnic Lodges, Fraternal Organizations, Churches, local school groups, CWU students, and members of the Roslyn Ronald Cle Elum Heriiage Club. ln 2018 we had over'100 volunteers for one of the Cemetery Clean Up days prior to Memorial Day. Because of Covid restrictions not allowing groups to assemble there M/as a large drop in the number of volunteers for the Cenretery Clean Up days. Despite the State's Stay at Home Order that was in place families \,€re still seen cleaning up gravesites and different areas of the cemeteries. These volunteer hours total hundreds, if not thousands of volunteers every year For this specific event we have estimated the volunteer hours on a spreadsheel that has been uploaded to thjs application. Our intent is to use this funding for expenses that we normally would not have. Our preference is to use the donations already procured for improvemenls and maintenance of the Roslyn Cemetery.
