KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM September 25, 2023 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright, Vice Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith, and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br />Others: Josh Fredrickson, Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; Brian Carlson, <br />Auditors Office; Jessica Miller, Jamey Ayling, Community Development <br />Services; Stephanie Hartung, Jesse Eldred, Prosecuting Attorney's <br />Office; No members of the public. <br />At 1:30 PM Chairman Cory Wright opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />No Citizen Comments. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO HEARINGS EXAMINERS TO <br />SUPPORT THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br />Jamey Ayling briefed the Board of County Commissioners on the Board of <br />Equalization and requested support for Resolution 2023-163 appointing <br />two Hearings Examiners and updating wages. Vice Chairman Brett Wachsmith <br />moved to approve Resolution 2023-163. Chairman Cory Wright seconded the <br />motion. Motion approved. <br />TITLE 16 CODE AMENDMENT DISCUSSION <br />Jamey Ayling requested the Board of County Commissioners review and <br />consider accepting the changes proposed to county code. Jamey Ayling <br />stated the proposal includes new language for notifications.
