BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - <br />ADOPTING AN ANNUAL CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM FOR 2024 <br />WHEREAS: In accordance with R.C.W. 36.81.130, the County Engineer has prepared an <br />Annual Construction Program for 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has reviewed and updated the County's <br />priority road construction program incorporating current bridge inspection <br />findings; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has access to Public Works priority scoring <br />array and 2022 Bridge Inspection Report and said documents were utilized by <br />staff preparing the proposed 2024 Annual Construction Program; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited public comment via press release along with holding two <br />open house meetings; and <br />WHEREAS: A Public Hearing was opened on September 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the <br />Commissioners' Auditorium concerning adoption of the said Annual Construction <br />Program for 2024; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby adopt the said Annual Construction Program for 2024, <br />hereto attached, as now submitted by the Kittitas County Director of Public <br />Works and County Engineer. <br />ADOPTED this 19th day of September 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
