Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />LETTER HOPESOURCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Board signature on a letter <br />of support for HopeSource regarding additional units for the County <br />homeless stock, as well as additional affordable low-income housing. <br />Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION EXECUTIVE MGMT DEV. COMMITTEE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright asked the Board if they had considered who they <br />would like on the Executive Management Development Committee that <br />will be tasked with development for the possible County <br />Administrator structure etc., The Board determined that they would <br />like to see the following County Staff on the Committee: Patti <br />Stacey, Julie Kjorsvik, Doug Fessler, Eileen Murphy, and as needed <br />the County Auditor, they stated they would keep thinking if others <br />made sense. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of September 11, 2023, they <br />would post on their Facebook page the following: The Upper County <br />Townhall Press Release; 9/11 Proclamation; Ellensburg’s Downtown <br />Bite of the Burg announcement. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2023 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />UPDATES BOCC/WHITE BOARDS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their updates/edits to each of their white <br />boards. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br />Meeting concluded at 9:49 a.m. <br />
