Direction to staff to present to the Board for <br />signature. <br />WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE LANDS 20/20 <br />Arden Thomas requested the Board of County Commissioners support to <br />indicate desirable land for Washington Department Fish and Wildlife <br />acquisition. Hannah Bates, Washington Department Fish and Wildlife <br />stated their office has prioritized a couple properties for public <br />access. The Board supports the action staff is taking and requests <br />they seer the input of the Public Lands Advisory Committee. <br />FIRE STATION 73 COMPLIANCE PLAN DISCUSSION <br />Arden Thomas briefed the Board of County Commissioners on an audit <br />that identified Fire Station 73 construction is not compliant with <br />FEMA standards for building within the floodplain. Arden Thomas <br />identified 3 options for the station and estimated an approximate 4- <br />year timeline to resolve to avoid further implications. Bill <br />Dickenson, Chair of the Board for Kittitas County Fire District 7 <br />stated he is concerned about the cost the station will incur and <br />would like to see if there is funding available to keep the station <br />where it is currently located for ideal emergency response.
