Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />LETTER OF SUPPORT TECH HUBS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Chair signature on a letter <br />of support for Tech Hubs to Eric Smith, Director of the Office of <br />Innovation and Entrepreneurship EDA as presented. Chairman Wright <br />seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of August 14, 2023, they <br />would post on their Facebook page the following: RFP for the <br />Hearings Examiner to assist in BoE Hearings; Lodging Tax Application <br />and training opportunities; Certificate of Appreciation to Jan <br />McElroy, Legal Process Asst III, for her retirement and years of <br />and Certificate of Recognition to Lisa Soderstrom, Legal Process <br />Coordinator (UDC) for 40 years of employment. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year.
