BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - <br />TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR <br />THE 2023 CONCRETE SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE REPAIRS PROJECT <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO EXECUTE SAME <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids for the 2023 Concrete <br />Sidewalk Maintenance Repairs Project in accordance with RCW 39.04.155 <br />Small Works Roster Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on June 22, 2023, at 10:000 am; and <br />WHEREAS: One responsive bid was received for the prescribed work; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Engineer recommends the responsive bid from Belsaas and <br />Smith Construction, Inc., of $53,346.00 be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the contract for the 2023 <br />Concrete Sidewalk Maintenance Repairs Project in the amount of $53,346.00. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents for said project. <br />DATED on this 5th day of July 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, <br />WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
