06/20/2023 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:02 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider the <br />purchase of real property. <br /> <br />ARDEN THOMAS, WATER RESOURCE MANAGER, reviewed a Staff Report and <br />explained they have secured funding from the Washington State <br />Recreation and Conservation office for the acquisition of land to be <br />managed by the Flood Control Zone District as Open Space for flood <br />hazard reduction, fish and wildlife enhancement, and passive <br />recreational uses. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC <br />PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2023-100 PURCHAE OF REAL PROPERTY PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2023-100, <br />Ratifying the Purchase and Sale Agreement and to Authorize the <br />Chairman to Sign on the Closing Documents for Parcel 908933. <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded.
