<br />06/20/2023 MINUTES 4 <br /> <br />funds. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT AUDITOR <br /> <br />Approve a Grant Funding Agreement with the Kittitas County Historical <br />Society, in the amount of $350,000.00, for Phase 1 of improvements to <br />the Historical Museum located in the historic Cadwell Building. <br /> <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENT 2 – DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH PUBLIC HEALTH <br /> <br />Approve Amendment No. 2, to Contract GVL26649, between the Kittitas <br />County Public Health Department and the Washington State Health <br />Department, for the Rural Equity Grant, from March 15, 2021, through May <br />31, 2024. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE PUBLIC HEALTH <br /> <br />Approve a Professional Services Agreement between the Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department and Comprehensive Healthcare, to provide <br />continuation of two Crisis Case Managers to assist in the Kittitas <br />Valley Healthcare Hospital’s emergency department for a total of 70 <br />hours a week of coverage from July 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING GREATER COLUMBIA PUBLIC HEALTH <br /> <br />Approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the Greater Columbia <br />Region Municipalities to Establish an Opioid Abatement Council. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS – NONE <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Jeff Greer requested the County’s support of the construction of a Field <br />House in Ellensburg. He explained how they’ve received a lot of support <br />from the community. <br /> <br />Dave Snyder, President of the Ellensburg Morning Rotary Club, asked for <br />the Board’s support for funding a portion of the construction of a Field <br />House. He said it would be extremely beneficial for the community and <br />would help fill the void of the recent fire and loss of the Racquet & <br />Recreation facility. <br /> <br />Tom Morris said in the 1990’s the Commissioners at that time had the <br />foresight to put together a group for the baseball and soccer fields <br />which have had a tremendous impact on the community, and hoped this <br />Board would assist in financial support for the Field House project. <br /> <br />Jill Wade presented letters of support from citizens and businesses in <br />the community for a Field House.
