(the Verge) <br />R-H Residential High <br />HTC Historic Trailer Court <br />MHP Manufactured Home Park <br />F-R Forest and Range <br />Refer to County standards <br />(Ord. 2022-017, 2022) <br />17.11.036 Definitions. <br />The following definitions shall apply and be utilized for projects located within the Ellensburg UGA. <br />Where terms are not defined, the definitions in KCC 17.08 shall apply. <br />1. "Accessory dwelling unit" means a self-contained residential unit that is accessory to a <br />single family dwelling on a lot and may be added to, created within, or detached from <br />the primary single-family dwelling unit. An accessory dwelling unit has its own <br />bathroom, kitchen facilities, living and sleeping areas, though it can share other features <br />with the single-family dwelling including the yard, parking, or storage. <br />2. "Accessory use" means on the same lot with, and of a nature customarily incidental and <br />subordinate to, the principal use or structure. <br />3. "Adult family home" means a residential home in which a person or persons provide <br />personal care, special care, room and board to more than one but not more than six <br />adults who are not related by blood or marriage to the person or persons providing the <br />services. <br />4. "Agriculture" means the use of land for farming, dairying, pasturing and grazing, <br />horticulture, floriculture, viticulture, apiaries, animal and poultry husbandry, Christmas <br />trees not subject to the excise tax imposed by RCW 84.33.100 through 84.33.140, finfish <br />in upland hatcheries, and accessory activities, including, but not limited to, storage, <br />harvesting, feeding or maintenance of equipment, but excluding stockyards, <br />slaughtering or commercial food processing. <br />5. 'Boarding houses, lodging houses, sororities, fraternities" means an establishment with <br />lodging for five or more persons on a weekly or longer basis with a central kitchen and <br />dining area maintained exclusively for residents and their guests. <br />
