WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />"Building Partnerships - Building Communities" Fax (509) 962-7682 <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br />A Conditional Use Permit (CU-08-00005) is hereby approved and issued to Kittitas County Parks & <br />Recreation District for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a five (5) acre SnoPark in the Rural 5 zone. <br />The site is located south of Woods & Steele Road, off of Forest Service Road #4510, Cle Elum, WA <br />98922, and is located in a portion of Section 07, T. 19 N., R. 15 E., W.M., in Kittitas County. <br />Assessor's map number 19-15-07060-0015. <br />This permit is subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The SnoPark shall be in operation and open to the general public only during the <br />months of October through March and shall be closed and gated during the months of <br />April through September. <br />2. The hours of operation during the winter months shall be 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. <br />3. Only service and maintenance vehicles shall be allowed within the SnoPark <br />boundaries during the closed months. <br />4. Private property signs shall remain visible and posted every 50 feet around the <br />perimeter of the property. <br />5. Signage of one -direction traffic flow, rules and regulations of SnoPark usage, exits, <br />and parking areas shall be visible. <br />6. Kittitas County shall be notified if a new contractor, differing from the information <br />submitted to Community Development Services on August 19, 2014, is used for <br />sanitary waste disposal and maintenance of the site. <br />7. There shall be no ground water withdrawal to serve the SnoPark. <br />8. Kittitas County Parks and Recreation District is responsible for creating noise <br />dampening structures to assist in lowering the amount of noise impact on neighboring <br />residences. <br />9.
