<br />05/16/2023 MINUTES 6 <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a <br />Purchase and Sale Agreement with Wester Rivers Conservancy. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />At 10:38 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess into an <br />Executive Session for 10 minutes until 10:48 a.m. with Dan Carlson, CDS <br />Director; Clay Myers, Sheriff; and Neil Caulkins, Chief Civil Deputy, <br />under RCW 42.30.110(i) to discuss with legal counsel representing the <br />agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss <br />with legal counsel regarding representing the agency litigation or <br />potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a <br />member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a <br />party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to <br />result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. <br />There was no action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:48 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There was <br />no action taken. <br /> <br />At 10:48 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess back into <br />an Executive Session for 5 minutes, until 10:53 a.m. under RCW <br />42.30.110(i) to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal <br />counsel regarding representing the agency litigation or potential <br />litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting <br />in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public <br />knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse <br />legal or financial consequence to the agency.
