EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Pursuant to any and all state legal requirements and regulations, the Contractor will <br />supply the following: <br />Asphalt paving an area that is approximately 25' x 264' in the area shown on the <br />map on the following page. Work includes the removal and disposal of V of <br />existing ground replaced with 9" of crushed base course then 3" of asphalt that <br />meets up to the existing asphalt on both the north and south ends. The road shall <br />be constructed to accommodate drainage, to prevent any water ponding on the <br />roadway. Work includes permitting, surveying, compaction testing, saw cutting to <br />create clean joints, shoulder work and restoration, all of which will be the <br />responsibility of the Contractor. <br />Work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Standard Specifications for <br />Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, 2022 edition, as issued by the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and the American <br />Public Works Association (APWA), Washington State Chapter (hereafter <br />"Standard Specifications"). L&I filing for Intent and Affidavit of Wages Paid are <br />also required. <br />The project must be complete by June 30, 2023, and may require some work <br />around time for scheduled events at the Kittitas Valley Event Center. <br />The Contractor shall not deviate from this scope of work without a change order <br />approved in writing by the Event Center Director. Additional services provided by the <br />Contractor including, but not limited to, costly repairs or connection services, are not <br />contemplated by this agreement and the County assumes no responsibility for such <br />work. <br />Professional Services Agreement <br />Page 13 <br />
