Given TNC's offer to expend funds, the Board may <br />desire to communicate a County position to The Nature Conservancy regarding the <br />potential for motorized use on the Cle Elum Lands. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />The potential impacts to Kittitas County of transferring the 9,600 acres of forest land to <br />permanent public ownership for management as a community Forest is not well <br />understood.
