10 | P a g e <br /> <br />arrangement (through legal agreement) with an authorized sublease who meets the <br />Minimum Standards of Aircraft Maintenance. <br />In addition to the services above, the Operator may choose to provide additional <br />services which could include the following: <br /> Aircraft tie-down and storage. <br /> Avionics sales and service <br /> Flight training <br /> Aircraft charter and/or rental <br /> Pilot supplies, aircraft, aircraft parts and accessory sales. <br /> <br />Minimum Facility Requirements: <br />The operator shall construct or lease the following: <br />Hangar facility with no less than 3000 square feet for storage and/or aircraft repair and <br />maintenance. <br />Paved aircraft parking with tie-downs <br />Adequate off-street parking that conforms to County Code requirements. <br />Sufficient space to store a fuel truck in accordance with applicable fire and building <br />codes. <br />Adequate space for the safe collection and disposal of waste or other materials . <br />FBO Fuel Storage and Operations <br />The operator must use existing Airport owned above ground storage tanks for fuel <br />storage and dispensing. The storage shall be no less than 10,000 gallons for each grade <br />of aviation fuel sold. These tanks shall be leased from the Airport at a current fair <br />market value for the term of the lease. <br />If there are inadequate fuel tanks available for lease the FBO must lease adequate land, <br />install and maintain an on-airport aboveground fuel storage facility at the Airport, in a <br />location consistent with the Airport master plan, Airport layout plan, or other land use <br />plan and approved by the Airport Director and BoCC. <br />These tanks shall be at minimum 10,000 gallons per fuel grade with appropriate design <br />for fueling and defueling of aircraft or supply vehicles. The operator shall also provide <br />card-activated or other automated dispensing equipment for self-serve or after-hour <br />use by its customers.
