BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS FOR THE MANASTASH ROAD CREEK BANK <br />STABILIZATION, CRP 273-16 <br />WHEREAS: The Manastash Road realignment and bank stabilization project was requested in <br />2016 due to a deteriorating roadway and bank erosion resulting from Manastash <br />Creek; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works submitted for, and was approved for a Federal <br />Lands Access Program (FLAP) Grant; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to starting the construction phase Public Works is requesting the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation to release the Federal Funds for <br />construction; and <br />WHEREAS: A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />acknowledging the project has been reviewed and is consistent with the agency's <br />comprehensive plan for community development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Manastash Road Creek Bank <br />Stabilization, CRP 273-16. <br />DATED on this 2nd day of May 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
