WHEREAS: public hearing must be held within sixty (60) days of the moratorium's enactment <br />and findings of fact must be made to support the action. A moratorium may last six (6) months <br />and be extended for up to one (1) year when accompanied by a work plan for moratorium <br />research; and <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners finds the need for such <br />moratorium during the bridge feasibility analysis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all land use applications or building permits <br />for Elk Meadows shall not be accepted for at least sixty days from March _, 2023 or until a <br />permit for a replacement bridge has been issued. <br />ADOPTED this day 2023. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />Clerk of the Board/Deputy Clerk of the Board <br />
