Discussion/Decision on Prosecutors move to new building including furniture and other <br />items: Discussion was held on the office space at the new Prosecutors office including budget, <br />technology and what is needed at both sites. The Board directed staff to complete an inventory <br />and come back with a financial request. Further discussion included needing a cost inventory <br />from IT, the cost of getting fiber to the building, security camaras, the number of ports needed <br />for them and what is needed inside the building and that funding will come from 3/10's Sales <br />Tax, not the general fund. Chris Horner, Greg Zempel and Elishia Harvill out at 2:40 p.m. <br />Parking Update: Discussion was held on the lack of parking on the new parking lot design due <br />to the requirements from the City and State. Discussion was held on the cost of 1.2 million and <br />the option to just grade and gravel it. Further discussion was held on putting the fiber through the <br />lot to the new Prosecutors office. The Board directed staff to meet with the City Manager. <br />Elevator Update: Patti informed the Board that the Elevator in the Jail should be up and running <br />by April 2151 <br />Shady Brook Update: Patti informed the Board that Neil Caulkins had a hearing regarding the <br />last tenant remaining in the park, stating that she must be out today, or the Sheriff will escort her <br />out tomorrow. Discussion was held on all the information she has been given for Hope Source <br />and Habitat for Humanity. Further discussion included letting Hope Source know so support <br />people can be available if needed. Patti informed the Board that Maintenance and Event Center <br />staff have been working on cleaning up the property and have removed 19.7 tons of garbage that <br />tenants left. Patti stated that she obtained approval from her Grant Officer and was able to pay <br />disposal fees and staff time, through the Litter Grant from the Department of Ecology, for the <br />illegal dump. Patti told the Board she is working on removing the junk vehicles and that Fulcrum <br />Environmental will be there next week for testing, that we own all the dwellings, and that she <br />will start on the Demo process next. <br />2023-04-11 MINUTES 2 <br />
