9129122,11:11AM <br />4.2 Promoting Local <br />Business * <br />LTAC Clerk Review <br />Describe how you will promote lodging establishments, restaurants, and business located in Kittitas County <br />We plan to add a Quicklink to our webpage allowing users to access local diners, <br />hotels, and activities from our site. Along with the Ellensburg Rodeo we will host <br />our overnight guests at three locations: Econolodge, Holiday lnn Express and Red <br />Lion hotels. we promote local businesses on the Ellensburg Rodeo Royal court <br />Poster, sponsorships at the ERHOF museum, we sponsor First Friday ArtWalk <br />events, and artists along with local businesses at our lnduction Banquet. we often <br />provide visible signage by means of posters, banners, brochures, and flyers. <br />The evolution of saddles in the world of rodeos is expected to have a large impact <br />on local tourism as this event will be bringing people to this event from near and <br />far. We plan to promote our downtown museum and this major community event <br />during Labor Day Weekend. We also plan to have an appearance in the Pioneer's <br />Day Parade, the Ellensburg Rodeo Parade, and other events in the northwest. <br />2500 character limit <br />4.3 Host Hotel*ls there a host hotel for your event or grant project? lf yes, list the hotel. <br />No <br />Yes. Along with the <br />f ttenlOurg Rodeo we will <br />host our overnight <br />guests at three locations: <br />Econolodge, Holiday lnn <br />Express and Red Lion <br />hotels. <br />5l Future Plans <br />Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. lnclude any plans for ticket <br />sales, event sponsors, and other cost-recovery models. <br />Future Plans*This is a onetime event (100th Anniversary of the Ellensburg Rodeo) we will be <br />holding various activities throughout 2023 to celebrate the occasion, ending Labor <br />Day Weekend. We plan to gather sponsors, hold fundraising events, charge <br />admission to our lnduction Ceremony and Whiskey Tasting Night to subsidize our <br />costs. We are also teaming up with the Ellensburg Rodeo to write a follow up book <br />on the original John Ludtka book of The Tradition Lives: the first 7Syear history of <br />the Ellensburg Rodeo.
