9129122, 12:20 PM LTAC Clerk Review <br />Additional lnformation |n2022 the Cle Elum Roundup was held the lastweekend in July. WA state <br />experienced record-breaking temperatures and we worked tirelessly to adjust and <br />pivot our plans, performances and facility to assure that we had hydration stations, <br />sun shades, and seating covers for metal bleachers. Additionally, we addressed <br />the added element of care our volunteers and the welfare of stock (rodeo, <br />volunteer, and contestant stock)with appropriate shelter & hydration availability. <br />This was an added element that we will continue to address into the future and will <br />become a part of our longerterm planning. <br />With the continued COVID 19 impacts and the increased costs of services we <br />have been cautious about our rate of expansion of our event. Sponsors have been <br />supportive and our retention rate is high due to the value they see in what the <br />Roundup brings to upper county. Ticket sales were slow this year with continued <br />concern over COVID 19 and then the threat of high heat which did have a direct <br />impact on our attendance.
