There are food & merchandise vendors, entertainers (drillteams,
musicians, clown acts), rodeo royalty, and kids & family activities allweekend long
before, during, and after each rodeo performance.
The professional rodeo performances are filled with traditional rodeo events, as
wellas, an entertaining clown and crowd-pleasing announcer, mutton busting,
boot races, Royalty runs, cowhide races and a spectacular grand entry where
sponsor flags fly high and the American flag is honored with the national anthem
performed live by localtalent.
We offer family activities before the rodeo, along with rodeo royalty and contestant
meet & greet, as well as entertainment including music, dancing and refreshments
after each of the rodeo performances. We find that multiple rodeo performances
and added activities of our event along with partnerships with sponsors to offer
discounts and advertising for local accommodations encourage our out-of-town
patrons to stay the night and enjoy a full weekend within our community.
The Cle Elum Roundup Association is a non-profit organization comprised of
dedicated volunteers working to strengthen our community through the traditions
of Roundup and the sport of rodeo.
2500 character limit
lf-app-16-03.co.kittitas.wa.us/Forms/form/submission/history/77658/85656?hideHeader=true 3117
